Hi! I'm Robert Nowland.
I'm a freelance brand identity designer & Brand Strategist working remotely from Perth Australia. Design and creative problem solving are in my blood, since I was old enough to pick up a pencil you'd be sure to find me doodling to my hearts content or fabricating my own elaborate Lego structures.
I'm grateful to have turned this passion into a career, in the 3 years since I began freelancing full-time I've been lucky enough to work with many like-minded creative entrepreneurs much of whom have become lifelong friends. The trouble is most brands blend into obscurity, my mission is to help courageous brands clarify their story, build a visual identity and strategy to breakthrough the noise, engage their audience and grow.
When I'm not designing for my clients, I love to pour myself into sharing content online to a growing community of over 150,000 people. It's super humbling to be able to inspire and educate others to become the best designers and creatives they can and pay it forward.
I'm also gigantic non-fiction book nerd, and get a huge kick out of thumbing through page after page to learn something new. Besides that, I believe it's super important to keep the mind and body in tip-top shape, keeping up with resistance training, Jiu Jitsu, yoga and mindfulness practice.
